Martin Nally
Martin is Founder and Managing Director of hranywhere - a Human Resources Service Company, offering People solutions to business.
Martin has been a HR practitioner for over 25 years. His early years were spent in the Mining Industry where Martin held several senior HR/ER roles with Pasminco Ltd (now Zinifex), the world’s largest zinc producer, spanning a period of 10 years. Other Career highlights include:
- almost 7 years with Kraft Foods Limited where he held the position of Director Human Resources (Aust – NZ).
- 3 years as National Personnel Manager with the Mayne Group.
- joining Coles Myer Limited in November 2003 he held a number of General Manager-HR positions within that corporation. Overseeing the Payroll Processes for Coles Myer (8.6 million pays p.a) during Australia’s largest payroll outsourcing project. Most recently Martin took the lead HR role in the sale of Myer and managed the integration process for transferring 23,000 employees to the new entity and rolled out the ‘Coles Myer for You’ People Brand. He left Coles Myer to start hranywhere in October 2006.
Martin holds degrees in Economics and Business Studies. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), a past AHRI State President in Tasmania, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Insurance and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
Martin is an Executive Committee member of Australian Senior HR Roundtable (ASHRR) and is a member of RMIT’s Advisory Board of Management and he is Chairman of the Board at St Kevin’s College, Toorak.
Martin is an enthusiast for improving the people dimension of business. He has a wife and four children and has a passion for family, fun, the Wallabies and the Melbourne Football Club.
